New Year's Day Moves

Ancient cultures, including those as varied as the Romans and the Hindus, celebrated New Year's Day on or around April 1. It closely follows the vernal equinox (March 20th or March 21st.) In medieval times, much of Europe celebrated March 25, the Feast of Annunciation, as the beginning of the new year.

In 1582, Pope Gregory XIII ordered a new calendar (the Gregorian Calendar) to replace the old Julian Calendar. The new calendar called for New Year's Day to be celebrated Jan. 1. That year, France adopted the reformed calendar and shifted New Year's day to Jan. 1. According to a popular explanation, many people either refused to accept the new date, or did not learn about it, and continued to celebrate New Year's Day on April 1. Other people began to make fun of these traditionalists, sending them on "fool's errands" or trying to trick them into believing something false. Eventually, the practice spread throughout Europe.

i don't know if this is the exact explanation of April fools' day...but this is what i got...

Okay first thing in the morning i got April fool-ed by my aunt ( mom's domestic helper). she told me that my dad called and asked me to come down in 2 minutes to take some things. i went down and was sitting at the void deck and then she called me and said its April fool.

ha ha like wtf. i already knew that it is April fools' day and my dad usually calls me down to take things from the car so i thought its true la. lol

anyways sorry sophia. true enough, having an organizer is good.=D

the clique planned to go bowling today but no one remembered it. haha. sophia msged me yst mid night asking if we were still gg for bowling. i thought she was trying to april fool me. lol

moving on, the ex members April fool-ed the excos today. =) it was kind of a success but still there wasnt kick to it. we act as though we were going to punish the excos. It was a sudden one, so the talking wasnt tt good butttttt they fell for it. LOL.
