SKATE CAMP 09!
gonna be v wordy....
1st day
Assembled
did our groupings
watched some videos
played some bonding game...
then played treasure hunt
took our dinner
and then went for night walk at blk 50, the haunted engineering blk....
first day was super boring!....was regretting coming for the camp...
but its not the committee's fault...its because of the weather...
we couldn't skate and go for urban...
but night walk was not tt bad
went to the 5th floor and had to walk in pairs one round arnd it
anyways the leaders told us not to look inside the class room....cause i think we might see things or wad la...
this was a last minute thing btw....so there were no leaders stationed to scare us...
so the first 3 pairs went and then it was my friend and my turn...
we walked around....
finished 3/4 of it and then my friend turned to the left to see the class room...
den suddenly there was a 'bang' sound at the window...
and my fren saw a head at the window...
really freaked us out...we started walking fast but then walked normally aft tt, but we could still hear the sound
aft finishing we asked the leaders whether they really din plan this walk...
they said no
we told them wad we saw and heard
and they all freaked out....
then one of them said lets go check the classroom...
so wen we abt to step the entrance of the corridors, all the lights went off...
this was even more freaky...
den one of them used the torch light and flash it at the entrance and we saw three figures walking towards us...
and it was just 3 of my group mates...-____-
they sneaked inside the classroom to scare all of us...
2nd day
Breakfast
2 hours of skating, free skating and urban.
i did urban,which is to skate outside ngee ann...around the terrace houses area...
was okay...
aft which was lunch...
den played amazing race which is also the dirty games...
this was also not that bad...
but we were kinda lil pissed off with one of the games...
they placed a canvas material at one of the sloppy "hills"...den poured oil, butter and detergent
so one of the grp members had to run up the slope and cling on to the fence and then the whole group had to gather up there.
the group before us did it successfully...
i think we were the only group struggling...
non of us could reach the top...
struggled for like 20 mins...den no choice...all run up together...den climb on each other....-_-...
to make things even worse there was a centipide on the canvas...
eventually the whole group was convered with butter, a lot of oil and abit of detergent...
the game masters poured lots of oil, butter and detergent....think we were the only group with lots of tt
tt kinda spoiled our mood to carry on playing the rest of the games...
aft that was dinner
den shower
gathered for skit presentation
and then this was the best part of the day
CACOON WARS!...hehe
had to go inside our sleeping bags and den bump each other...the one who falls down loses...
was very fun and funny...
the game master was the ex president of skate club...he's very funny and entertaining...
3rd day
breakfast
den relay game...
slipper was our baton and we had to skate around the track...this was also fun...
competition between 2 teams
aft which was debrief, prize presentation and balek kapong...
could not wait to go home...
so tt's about for camp...
got no pics...
if i get any, will upload them...
anyways plan for tmr, meet my tamil friends at mahen's place for movie marathon...=))
